Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta
1st day: Saco will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat airport to your hotel. We will visit Ho Chi Minh museum or Ton Duc Thang museum. At night, we visit Indochina Queen boat, have dinner and enjoy music here.
2nd day: Ho Chi Minh City – Tien Giang – Can Tho
Situated on the northern bank of the Tien River and with a 32-km coast, Tien Giang is endowed with beautiful landscapes in three ecological areas: freshwater alluvial ecological areas, mangrove ecological areas and Dong Thap Muoi flooded ecological areas. The dense network of rivers and canals has created orchards where locally special fruits are grown such as Hoa Loc mango, Co Co grapefruit, Cai Be citrus, Lo Ren Vinh Kim star apple, Ngu Hiep durian, Cho Gao dragon fruit and Go Cong cherry. The province also has 21 national historical cultural sites, festivals and cottage industry villages.
3rd day: Can Tho – Tra Su Cajuput forest
The floating markets of Can Tho, Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating market, are famous for its everyday trading. Many local products are sold here and in particular a large variety of fruits, some of which you might have never seen before. There are small boats offering all kinds of snacks and local soups from which you can get your early breakfast. It is 16 km to Cai Rang floating market and around 32 kilometres to get to Phong Dien floating market from Can Tho pier. During the tours you will have the chance to see the nature of the Mekong delta and if you are lucky some wild animals.
Located in Van Giao Commune, Tinh Bien District, An Giang Province, Tra Su Cajuput is approximately 100 kilometers from the city of Long Xuyen. In recent years, Tra Su Cajuput has been one of the best destinations any traveler must come for a Mekong Delta trip. With the area of about 850 ha, the forest is home to a rich diversity of fauna and flora.
4th day: Chau Doc – Can Tho
From Chau Doc to Sam Mountain crossroads in Vinh Ta Commune, you will see a pagoda at the foot of Mount Sam, which is Tay An Temple. The pagoda features the architectural style of the Indian temple, in addition to its natural landscape, creating a stunning beauty overall.
Tay An Temple is also known as the ancient Tay An (Tay An co tu), a Buddhist temple located at the junction and adjacent to Sam Mountain. The pagoda’s height is 284m above sea level and had been beautifully designed in “tam” style, with Indian art and Islamic art combined with ancient Vietnamese temple architecture. Tay An Temple is not only a place of pilgrimage and worship but also a famous tourist attraction of An Giang.
The most unique tourist attraction in Chau Doc is the floating village, the cultural characteristics of the river. Coming to this place, you will find it interesting to feed the fish, drop bait down the raft and suddenly a school of fish jumped up for food and to scare you, which looks very exciting.
5th day: Can Tho – Go to Airport
If the Northern Vietnam is characterized by colorful fairs of mountainous people, Southern Vietnam has fairs on rivers, known as floating markets. With its unique culture, floating markets are attracting domestic and international tourists in Mekong tours of shopping. Cai Rang Floating Market is the place of exchanging and trading agricultural products, fruits, goods, food as well as an eating area. It is the outstanding attraction in Can Tho.
